Dentures are a way to replace missing teeth in a non-permanent way. Whereas dental implants are permanently installed into the jawbone, dentures are a removable solution to the effects caused by missing teeth. All Smiles Dentistry can provide dentures as a means to help restore your smile, and can be made to try to match your original teeth for comfort and the overall look you deserve.

There are several types of dentures, and our dentists can help you choose the fit that works best for you. With conventional dentures, remaining teeth are removed, healing of the gums and tissue takes place, and then a full set of removable dentures are created and placed in your mouth. Conventional dentures are still removable.

Immediate dentures are placed on the same day that the teeth are removed, but may require fixing or realignment after some time for healing has been allowed. An overdenture is created to fit the existing teeth, rather than removing them. Overdentures work similarly to dental implants in the sense that they work with the teeth that you have, rather than removing the remaining teeth.

No matter which route you think works for you and your dentures, the dentists at All Smiles Dentistry are here to consult and guide you for the best possible solution to get your smile back. With the right set of dentures, not only will your smile be back on track, but your eating habits, your confidence, and your life in general can return as well.
